Highest Level of Care
Every horse at Iron Horse Farms receives the highest level of care. Stalls are cleaned daily and horses are turned out daily. There are individual or group paddocks. Horses are fed twice a day. Special feeding accommodations can be made upon request. Blanketing, new bedding, and a watchful eye are all part of our standard high-level of care.

The Indoor Facilities
The stable facilities are designed as “mini-barns.” Each of the eight mini barns has three 12x12 stalls. The mini-barns can be customized to any style or theme. There is water available in each mini-barn and adjacent to each mini-barn is a tack room. This design puts everything you need within a few feet—there are no long walks hauling tack or hoses. The barn is outfitted with geo-thermal heat and designed as a frost-free barn. The geo-thermal system keeps the stables above freezing and allows the horses to comfortably move from inside to outside during winter months.

The footing in the indoor arena was designed with the help of MSU and is rated for Dressage riding. The indoor arena is 70ft x 182ft, 12,740sf, making it suitable for competition. What truly separates the Iron Horse arena is the amount of natural light that pours in through the translucent sections of the roof. On most days, there is no need to turn on the lights—the natural light is more than adequate.

The barn also offers a clubhouse with a kitchen, dining area, lounge and first and second story viewing areas. The clubhouse is fully heated, making it a very comfortable venue for watching the riding or just visiting with neighbors and friends.

Outdoor Facilities
The outdoor facilities include 80 acres or rotational grazing, an outdoor arena (90x140), an outdoor practice area (80x120), over 7 miles of riding trails, multiple jumping areas, and a 17 acre galloping field. There is no place in Michigan that offers this type of riding area right on the property!

Rates
One stall runs $400/mo, a full mini barn is $1000/mo.
